I was struck by this short essay by Eddie S. Glaude, Jr. in The Atlantic, and in particular the suggestion that we hold a national Constitution Day to meet and reflect on where our country has been and where it is going. Why not make that an annual holiday, say on the first or second Tuesday in November?
